“Ahhh, 5 minute feta cheese spread. The great source of life. How your tasty crumbled bits roll over tongue, slide down my gullet and make my tummy fat and happy.”
Sorry folks, that was my ode to the 5 minute feta cheese spread, the easiest spread (or dip) that you’ve ever made in your life. I swear by this spread. Fewer things are as impressive at a party as this spread. Except for my blueberry cranberry cronuts. Or my brazillian chocolate coconut dessert pizza. I have a thing for party foods.
5 minutes is a bargain for a spread this good. When I first made this spread, I had not idea that it would turn out as well as it did. I knew as soon as I made it that this spread would be one of my party go-to dishes in the future. What’s even better is that it has the flexibility to become a dip if you need it to. The trick for turning this spread into a dip is swapping out the cream cheese for sour cream. I’ll include that in the recipe itself. The dip can be used with chips, carrots or anything else that lends itself to dip.
Since the base of the spread (or sour cream, if you make it a dip) is cream cheese, you can put in any combination of spices and vegetables and change the taste entirely. How great is that? You could even use the recipe below as a template for a new spread based on this one. Flexibility makes this recipe king. Isn’t cooking amazing?
There’s not much else! Keep coming back, keep cooking with me and enjoy the spread! The recipe is just after my invitation to subscribe!

Hi there, is there actually feta in this spread?

Yep! There sure is. It blends in with the cream cheese which is why you might not see it in the photos, but it is most certainly there 🙂 Hope that answers your question!
