This isn’t really a secret: I hate store bought salsa. People should eat real food. Making your own salsa is cheap, it’s fast, it’s healthier and it tastes better. Some people elect to have the convenience of buying salsa. But you’re here because you want to do it for yourself. You’re unique. So, without further ado, behold my BASIC JALAPEÑO FETA SALSA!
This salsa is so simple and so basic. It’s also so delicious. That’s the wonderful thing about food. I was talking with a friend of mine the other day (one of the friends that I made my St. Patty’s Day pizza nachos with) about this very thing. So many people think that a good cook is somebody who makes food taste good. But the thing of it is that our bodies are designed to eat! We are designed to like food! A good cook isn’t someone who makes food taste good. A good cook is someone who lets food taste good.
This salsa exemplifies that philosophy. It’s so basic and it will taste so good because of that. No gimmicks, no tricks, just taste.
The salsa goes very well with my (Not so) world-famous nacho recipe!
That’s really all that there is to it today, folks! Pretty pictures, good salsa and a little bit of food philosophy. Come cook with me more often and let’s make things happen!
